Handicaped actors showed themselves in Netherlands

Handicaped actors made a great trip to Amsterdam. Civil association ArtEst with their social theatre Hopi hope spent five days in Netherlands.

AMSTERDAM. The reason for foreign trip was project GRUNTVIG dedicated to job creation and independent life of people with Down syndrome.

Artest presented themselves mainly with social theatre Hopi hope, where people with Down syndrome succesfully works, and which gives them job opportunities.
Netherland partners were interested in this project so much, that they organized fund-raising and donated it to art director and coordinator of Gruntvig project in Slovakia - Peter Kalmár.

Made a movie

Ten people from ArtEst were involved in conference, four of them with Down syndrome. "Results of common work of people with Down syndrome were finished by making a movie. In this movie our children presented their visions of future and interests. We could seen this movie in final evaluation in Eye Film Institute Netherlands", informed Lívia Kalmárová.
